1. Determine location for the storage of your pontoon. The location
should be level and on stable ground that will support the weight of
your craft while not allowing the supports to "sink" into the soil.
2. As in any storage location, make sure your pontoon has plenty of
clearance from any building or landscaping to avoid damage to
property or to your craft from storing under eaves of building or
possible dropping branches, etc.
3. Simply place your pontoon in your chosen location and locate
the blocks at the desired positions. Please note the positioning
and spacing of the blocks will depend on the size and style
of your pontoon. Check with your pontoon manufacturer for
recommendations on spacing and number of Pontoon Storage
Blocks to utilize for your pontoon.
4. Place your pontoon on to the blocks (4000lb max each) and make
final adjustments if required to assure a secure and stable loading
on the blocks.
5. It is recommended that normal measures are taken to properly
secure the pontoon down to prevent movement of the craft while
in storage.
Care and Maintenance:
To ensure years of use please follow these simple recommendations
for cleaning and storing your Attwood Pontoon Storage Blocks.
1. Clean and wash off the pontoon blocks with a garden hose to
remove soil and dirt from the surface of the blocks.
2. Allow to thoroughly dry.
3. Inspect and examine blocks to ensure they show no signs of wear
or degradation and are in good working order. Discontinue use
immediately if any signs exist.
