In order to make the best of our product, please read carefully the following instruction manual.
Warning
Do not try to transmit if the antenna has not been connected, this could seriously damage the
transceiver.
This equipment has been calibrated and tested at factory; do not open it and try to tamper with
its internal components.
Connecting the antenna
The lead-in antenna cable must be terminated with a PL-259 connector. Only use antennas tuned
on 27MHz and use a RG-58/U shielded cable with a typical impedance of 50 Ohm.
Microphone bracket
Install the microphone bracket in a conformable position inside the vehicle, making sure that the
cable or the microphone itself does not interfere with driving operations.
Interference caused by the distribution system of your vehicle.
Modern cars no longer cause problems for the shielding of distribution cables and ignition system,
therefore the transceiver should not suffer any interference caused by engine operation.

DISPLAY AND COMMANDS ARES OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Having properly installed and wired your CB, the antenna and connected to the power supply, you
are now ready for the six steps designed to get you into effective and satisfactory operation.
Step1: Connect the microphone to the microphone jack on the front panel and check for secure.
Step2: Make sure your antenna is securely connected to the antenna connector.
Step3: Make sure the squelch control is in 9 o'clock position.
Step4: Turn the power on and adjust the "volume" control to obtain a satisfactory sound level.
Step5: Select the desired channel moving the channel selector up or down.
Step6: To transmit, press the push-to-talk bar (PTT) on the microphone. To receive, release the
PTT bar.

Power ON/OFF & volume control
This control turns your CB on and off and adjusts the sound level for comfortable reception.

Squelch control
Turn this control clockwise to quiet the receiver when signal is not being received and allow a
quiet standby operation.

AM/FM selector
Press this button to select AM/FM.

SCAN
Your CB incorporates a scanning feature. It will scan through all 40 channels. It will stop at any
BUSY channel and it will stay on that channel until about seven seconds after conversation and

then resume scanning. To activate this feature, press the SCAN button and the Scan mark will
appear on the LCD. If you want to stop scanning, push the SCAN button again or the PTT bar
on the microphone. This will stop the scanning function.

CHANNEL 9 & RESET
Press this button in case of emergency. This button can also be used as Reset button when the
radio is not working properly. Press this button and switch on the radio to reset. RS will be
displayed on the LCD and your radio will be reset to its initial conditions.

Press the channel UP and DOWN buttons to select a channel.
When the UP and DOWN buttons are pressed, the channels are rapidly changed upward or
downward.

FREQUENCY BANDS selection
Press and hold A/F key + power on to enter frequency mode selection. Then Press UP or DN
key to choose modes for different countries: IO, I2, DE, D2, EU, CE, SP, FR, UK, PL, RU, PO,
PC. After selection, power off and repower on the radio , the radio will work on the selected
Frequency mode.

UENCY BANDS selection
STotal 6 Frequency bands available in RU,PO,PC mode, while in any one of this three modes,
press and hlod A/F for over 3 second to enter band selection. When the LCD show A-F, press
UP or DN key to choose the frequency band. After selection, press and hold A/F to store
selection and turn to work on selected band.
RU mode:
A: 25.615------26.055MHz

B: 26.065------26.505MHz

C: 26.515------26.955MHz

ASQ
(Automatic Squelch)/Squelch
Suppressed undesirable back-ground noises when there are no communication. Squelch does
not effect neither sound or transmission power, but allows a considerable improvement in
listening comfort.
ASQ:Automatic Squelch
No repetitive manual adjustment and a permanent improvement in listening comfort when
this function is active. It can be disconnected by turning the switch clockwise, in this case the
manual squelch control becomes active again.

POWER CORD CONNECTION
Wire the supplied power cord to the battery (connect the red wire to +13.8V and the black wire
to battery ground).
External speaker
A 3.5mm external speaker can also be used.
