Печатать страницуTo install the dome box, raise the box up through the opening and bring it down to set it into the opening. This box should fit
snuggly and may require that you push up on the roof panels to allow the box to slip into place. The edging on the outside of the
box should fit tightly down onto the roof. Fasten it with 1½" screws (where indicated by pre-drilled holes), through the box into
the roof plate. Once the box is properly set, tighten all the roof panel bolts.
Set the dome and the crown unit into place. Fasten with 2' screws through pre-drilled holes.
Square up the roof on the wall panels. Fasten up throught the wall top plate, onto the roof header using three 2½" screws per
panel.
Finishing the roof:
All caps and covers are installed using 1 ½ " ggalvanized finishing nails provided. Run two straight lines of silicone down the roof
shingles on either side of the joint so that they end up being under the cap edges. Flat caps are installed on the centre joints. Start
at the eave, set each flat cap on the shingle and fasten with two finishing nails. The beveled flat cap goes at the top, tucked under
the dome edge. Ridge caps go on the hips (corner ridges). Fasten with finishing nails through pre-drilled holes.
For fascia covers and corner covers, simply hold straight edge up, placed directly under overhanging shingle and nail into place with
1½"
