To ensure that you enjoy the maximum usage of your slide, please take note of and follow the
maintenance/advice contained on this page.
You MUST install the slide as per the installation instructions in the location it is intended to go. You
CANNOT install the slide in any other location on the platform otherwise any warranty claims will be
rendered void.
Cracking of the slide near the screw holes which connect to the platform can occur because of a number of
reasons:
1. Slide not installed on even ground:
a. Overtime, the base of the slide may become "pitted" by your children's feet causing the
ground to become uneven. This instability may lead to damage of the slide if not corrected.
2. Slide not butted tight to the platform:
a. Seen when there is a gap between the "shoulder" of the slide and the edge of the platform.
b. A section of the slide is left unsupported meaning it will experience a concentration of
stress in use.
3. Screwed too tight to the platform:
a. Introduces stress at the connection point – leads to weakening of the plastic.
4. Lifting the slide whilst it is still attached to the platform (for example, to mow the lawn or
otherwise.
5. Excessive force:
a. Our slides are robust and the age rating on your climbing frame is a good indication of the
age of child which can use it. NOT TO BE USED BY ADULTS
b. The slide must not be mistreated with excessive force in use. I.e. by
walking/jumping/standing on the slide.
c. The slide has a maximum weight limit of 50Kg
Slide Care Advice / Maintenance
IMPORTANT
DO NOT stand on, or allow your

will be hazardous and may cause
injury.
DO NOT walk up or down the
slide whilst it is attached to the
climbing frame.
Remove the slide in
windy/stormy weather to avoid
potential damage by the wind.
