7.1.2 Wall mounting

First, remove the bracket on the rear of the device.

If expansion plugs are needed to fix the bracket at the chosen place of installation (depend-

ing on the wall texture), mark the exact position of the two drill holes through the mounting

holes of the bracket.

Make sure you do not damage any existing wires or pipes when drilling mounting holes

or tightening screws.

If necessary, insert the supplied 2 expansion plugs into the drill holes.

Use the supplied 2 screws to fix the bracket in the desired position.

Mount the device on the wall bracket.

7.2 Charging

To be able to use the product, you must first charge the battery.

To charge the battery, connect one end of the supplied USB Type-C

USB Type-C

port of the device.

Plug the other end of the cable into a USB power supply (5 V/DC, min. 1 A).

Once power is applied to the USB port, the battery status indicator (D) is permanently lit

or flashes green.

The battery is fully charged when the battery status indicator (D) goes off.

The product battery can also be charged during operation.

Check the table in the previous section for the battery status display.

7.3 Basic operation

Press and hold the on/off touch button (F) for more than 2 seconds to switch on the device.

When the button is touched, you will hear a short beep. You will hear another long beep

after 2 seconds.

Once switched on, the display may take a few seconds to show the correct readings.

With the device switched on, briefly press the on/off touch button (F) again to adjust the

display brightness in 3 steps.

You can also adjust the volume in 2 steps by briefly pressing the loudspeaker touch button (G).

Pressing and holding the button for more than 2 seconds activates the mute function. When

the button symbol is highlighted, the mute function is active.

8 Configuring and operating the Wi-Fi switch in the app

8.1 Installing the app

Open the respective app store on your smartphone. If you are using

Android

, open "Google Play". If you are using an Apple device, open

"App Store" from Apple.

Search for the "Smart Life - Smart Living" app (house icon with blue

background) or the "Tuya Smart" app (white letter t with red back-

ground) and install it.

You can also scan the respective QR code below or tap on the name.

You will be redirected to the page of the appropriate store. Use the

Android

or Apple iOS device to scan the QR code.

Smart Life - Smart Living

The description below refers to the "Smart Life - Smart Living" app. The configuration and

operation are almost identical to the "Tuya Smart" app.

8.2 Launching the app for the first time

Open the previously installed "Smart Life - Smart Living" app.

If you have not created a free account yet, please sign up and follow the instructions.

If you are using several devices, we recommended that you create a profile for your home

first. You can then create several profiles (e.g. for each room). The corresponding settings

page in the app can be accessed with the button in the lower right corner.

8.3 Configuring the product

For configuration, your smartphone and Wi-Fi switch should be connected to the same

Wi-Fi network.

Important:

Please note that only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks are supported.

Make sure the connection mode is enabled before connecting your device to the app.

To activate the connection mode, switch on the device and keep the loudspeaker touch

button (G) pressed for more than 6 seconds.

Once you hear a long beep and the Wi-Fi signal strength status indicator (C) starts flashing

quickly, release the button.

The connection mode is now active.

The connection mode turns off automatically after approx. 2 to 3 minutes.

Pressing and holding the loudspeaker touch button (G) again for more than 6 seconds

takes you back to the connection mode. Press and hold the button to change the mode.

may automatically find the device and prompt

to set it up. It may also be that the device only

appears on the display after you have already

started adding it (see screenshot).

In this case, tap the button to add the device

and follow the instructions in the app up to

the point in which you can rename the new

device.

You can add a new device manually by tap-

ping "+" on the top right of the app's main

page and selecting the device you want to

add. Otherwise, tap the blue button below in

the middle.

You can add the device in the app by se-

lecting the third item in the left column (see

the black rectangle at the bottom left of the

screenshot).

As the next step, scroll down to the right and

select "CO2 Detector (BLE+Wi-Fi)" (see

the black rectangle at the bottom right of the

screenshot).

Tapping this section takes you to the next

configuration page.

If the WiFi connection status indicator (C) is still flashing rapidly, tap the bottom blue button.

You must also confirm beforehand, by ticking or on the next page, that the status display

for the WLAN connection (C) is still flashing quickly.

Important:

The search for the device via setup should begin shortly after the device has been put into

connection mode. Otherwise, the search may not be successful because the device has

exited the connection mode.

Select your Wi-Fi network first (tap the double arrow on the right) and then enter the Wi-Fi

password if your Wi-Fi network has not been automatically adopted in the next view.

Tap the blue button to save your selection and continue.

The app will search for the new device and complete the setup. This can take several

minutes.
