Instructions for Food Storage
*Storage periods for root vegetables are extended if their roots are placed towards the cold
source.
*Leaves of carrots or turnips should be removed before storage.
*Onions, garlic, ginger and other delicate root vegetables should not be stored in
the refrigerator,as these foods are more suitable for long-term storage at normal
temperatures.
*Melon, bananas and pineapples should not be stored in the refrigerator.
Cold air will accelerate the ripening process.
