STEP 9:

Changing the Cot Bed from Upper to Mid Position.

Please follow these steps - No new hardware is needed.

1. Using an allen key, loosen

(but do not remove) the 8

bolts (#1) on the head and

footboards of the cot bed.

4. Remove the bed base brackets (#5) from their current position and

move them down to the lower set of holes.

The help of a second

person is recommended

for this step.

2. Using the allen key, remove the

4x top hat nuts (#6) holding the

bed base in place.

3. Remove the base panel from the

cot bed and keep to one side.

5. When brackets

are in place with

their threaded

ends facing up,

carefully put the

base panel back

into the cot bed,

replace the top hat

nuts and re-tighten.

6. Re-tighten all 8 bolts on the

head and footboards.

Please keep all remaining hardware, panels and instructions in a safe place so

you can refer to them for when your child is ready for the cot bed base to be

moved down to a lower level.
