Alternatively rotate fan 180°. Place joint for
assembled countertop under rear part of the
ventilation housing.
Combination With Induction
Cooktops – Figure 6
In combination with induction cooktops the
following free spaces between cabinet and
backsplash ventilation must be observed to allow
circulation of air to and from the induction cooktop:

In front of the air duct:

drawers, oven or cabinet inside wall.

Beside the air duct:
Keep the gap between the air duct and the
cabinet side wall free.

On the rear edge of the housing:
Keep the following spaces free:
– housing and wall
– housing and floor

Installation

Check appliance for any transport damage.

Cut out countertop opening. Check that
countertop is level.

Insert fan housing into base cabinet.

Lower top part of the ventilation unit through
the opening in the countertop onto the fan
housing. Do not damage the seal.

Align appliance in cabinet: All depths are
measured from the rear edge of the top part of
the backsplash ventilation (flush with the wall)
and the opening in the countertop.

Take off ventilator lid. Remove activated carbon
filter.

Mark correct position of exhaust opening on
cabinet base (min. 1.9 sq.ft. / 1800 cm
through the fan housing base. Cut out opening.
Fan housing must fully cover exhaust opening.

Screw fan housing to front of the cabinet side
walls, use spacers if necessary. For oversize
cabinets screw fan housing to cabinet bottom.

Mark front of the housing on countertop. Lift
appliance top part slightly and support on both
sides. Apply silicone along marking on
countertop. Lower appliance top part onto
countertop. Smoothen silicone.
10 Screw furniture support onto appliance,
cabinet side walls and countertop.
11 Insert activated carbon filter in fan housing. The
filter mat must lie flat. Refit ventilator lid.
12 Remove the transport safeguard from the air
intake.
13 Lift off cover. Insert fluorescent lamp into the
socket. Turn fluorescent lamp in socket until it
engages. Replace cover.

Total rating AT 400-730: 316 W
Light: 30 W (AT 400-700) / 36 W (AT 400-730)

The connecting cables of the cooking appliances
are laid through the middle of the air duct to the
rear. Water in/outlet pipes must not be laid through
the air duct.
Insert the plug of the control cable into the fan
housing.
