20. Locate the calibration tray(s), collapsible bucket,
and scale.
21. Install the calibration tray(s) over the drive shaft
and let it hang; align calibration tray(s) with rows
which will be caught.
22. In the tractor cab, engage tractor hydraulic
remote for the hydraulic drive.
23. Tap
soft key.
24. The calibration menu will be displayed. Split-Box
configuration shown below.
25. On the drill, engage the yellow calibration
button.
Please Note: On 2-section drills, the yellow
i
calibration button is located on the left-section
under the walkboard. On 3-section drills, the
yellow calibration button is located on the
center-section under the walkboard.

26. An active calibration menu will be displayed.
Split-box configuration is shown below.
Please Note: Once the yellow calibration

button on the drill has been engaged, the
Calibration menu will become active and will
update the estimated collection sample data.

Please Note: To end the calibration operation,

tap
soft key at any point.
On the drill, you will need to disengage the
yellow calibration button to stop the metering
drive(s).
27 . On the drill, once a sufficient calibration sample
has been collected, you will need to disengage
the yellow calibration button.
28. Tap
soft key.
29. At the drill, attach collapsible bucket to scale,
and zero scale.
30. Detach calibration tray for Metering System 1
from metering drive shaft and pour collected
sample into the collapsible bucket. Metering
System 1 is factory preset as the front meters on
Split-Box Hoppers.
31. Use the scale to weigh the collected sample.
