The intended use of the DAYS Comfort Chair is as a chair for elderly or special
needs seating. The unit is intended for use by qualified health professionals within
a clinical setting.
Precautions and Warnings
• After moving the chair into position, ensure wheel lock is applied before
transferring user into position.
• To avoid injury, keep patient and operator limbs clear of mechanisms / moving
parts, especially when in motion.
• WARNING: Do not modify this equipment without authorisation of the
Manufacturer.
• WARNING: Do not sit on the foot section; ensure user transfers on to the
chair on the seat section with side support lowered.
Warranty
A manufacturer's warranty of 10 years applies to the frame and 1 year on other
parts when used in accordance with the user instructions and when the product
has been properly maintained. Warranties do not extend to products damaged by
any abuse, accident or improper use or normal wear and tear.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES - Shall PERFORMANCE HEALTH or their agents
or dealers be liable in any manner whatsoever for any compensation or damages to
any person occasioned by this chair for any loss, injury or any damage occasioned
by or as a result of the misuse or abuse of this chair.
Any express or applied conditions, statements or warranty, statutory or otherwise
is hereby excluded.
Upholstery
The breathable polyurethane cover can be removed and washed in warm soapy
water or wiped down using disinfectant wipes. It is recommended that all upholstery
panels be cleaned weekly with warm soapy water and then wiped clean with a
damp cloth to rinse off any soapy residue. This will preserve the Upholstery and
increase its life span.
Preventative Maintenance
It is recommended that a program of regular and appropriate Preventative
Maintenance, be instituted for this equipment to confirm continued operator and
patient safety.
