Cas tors

There are 2 different castors for the Alvo conference chair on castors (825, 826): hard castors for

e.g. carpeting or soft castors for e.g. parquet flooring.

Both castors are always equipped with a brake. If the chair is not loaded, the castors are braked.

If the user sits on the chair, the brakes are released and the chair can be moved.

The braking force of the castors can be adjusted individually to the weight of the operator by

means of a screwdriver (Fig. 1).

Cleaning the cas tors

Please clean the castors at regular intervals to ensure that they function properly. If the function is

impaired, proceed as follows:

First loosen the screw on the brake with a screwdriver until the braking force is released (Fig. 1).

Now turn the wheels of the castor to carefully remove the unwanted dirt.

Clean the rolling surfaces with a dry cloth.

Finally, tighten the screw again until the desired braking strength is achieved.

Seat height adjus tment

Alvo swivel chair with seat height adjustment (822, 824, 826).

By operating the side release lever on the Alvo conference chair with seat height adjustment

(822, 824, 826), you can individually adjust the seat height to your personal requirements.

By pulling the side lever upwards, the gas pressure spring in the swivel column is released and

the operator can set the seat height that suits him or her. Releasing the side lever fixes the seat

position again.

Caution: The gas pressure spring is under pressure. Do not open, heat or throw into open fire!
