Please read and save these instructions:

Be careful when unpacking the lamp since the wires are

connected. If the wires are pulled out of their connectors, it may

result in a bad connection.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Floor Lamp

1. Carefully unpack and place all parts on a soft, flat surface.

2. Insert tube (B) into lamp base (A), gently twist to tighten.

3. Insert tube (C) into tube (B), twist to tighten.

4. Insert tube (D) into tube (C), twist to tighten.

5. Insert socket assembly (E) into tube (D), twist to tighten. Gently

pull any excess cord from the lamp base.

6. Place harp (G) onto saddle (F).

7. To assemble shade, place the support rod into bottom ring as

shown in diagram. Place the other end of the support into the top

ring. Repeat this step with the other rods.

8. Place shade (H) onto harp (G) and fasten with finial (I).

9 Use with one 150 watt max standard bulb or 3-way CFL

Table Lamp

1.Carefully unpack and place all parts on a soft, flat surface.

2. Insert socket assembly part (B) into lamp base (A), gently twist to

tighten and pull any excess cord from the lamp base.

3. Place harp (D) onto saddle (C).

4. To assemble shade, place the support rod into bottom ring as

shown in diagram. Place the other end of the support into the top

ring. Repeat this step with the other rods.

5.Place shade (E) onto harp(D) and fasten with finial (F).

6. Use with one 150 watt max standard bulb or 3-way CFL

equivalent. Do not exceed maximum wattage as specified on the

socket label.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature to

reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does

not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never

use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug. Indoor use only.

Remove cellophane cover from the shade before use.

Many people are choosing to use energy efficient CFL light bulbs.

Some CFL bulbs may change the functionality of the lamp.

For example: if this lamp has a low/high/off function or 3-way switch,

then when using the CFL bulb on the low setting the bulb may either

flicker or not work. We recommend only using at the "high" level.
