Troubleshooting
If you experience any difficulties with the operation of your CORD subwoofer, please
check the table below before contacting a service centre.
Problem
No Power - no indicator light
No Sound
Unusual sound or thumping
General
Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair this product
yourself. Please refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
No user serviceable parts are used in this product. Removing the
rear cover and tampering will void your warranty.
Possible cause
• AC Power cord is out
• AC socket switch is OFF
• AC Power cord disconnected
• AC socket switch is OFF
• Subwoofer In cable is out
• Subwoofer Out is OFF in the
source amplifier/receiver
• Speaker cables are out
• Level is adjusted too low
• Operation switch is set to OFF
• Error in music data
• Excessive volume level
• Check all cables and
accessories
• No bass level from source
software
• Incompatible software
Remedy
• Connect the AC Power cord
• Switch ON the AC socket
• Connect the AC Power cord
• Switch ON the AC socket
• Connect the subwoofer cable
• Refer to the source amplifier
receiver owners' manual
• Connect the speaker cables
• Increase Level adjustment
• Set Operation switch to ON
• Try different music
• Reduce volume level
• Substitute cables for known
good cables
• Change software
• Check amplifier/receiver
compatibility with Dolby/DTS
