Install the removed accessories in the
opposite sequence.
The retaining pins on the
telescopic runners must
point to the front.
12.3 Catalysis
Remove all accessories and removable
shelf supports.
The walls and fan cover with a catalytic
coating are self-cleaning. They absorb fat
which collects on the walls while the oven
operates.
The catalytic cleaning procedure cannot
start:
• If you do not remove the shelf
support or telescopic shelf runners (if
present).
• if you did not fully close the oven
door.
1. Select the function:Catalysis.
2. Press
to confirm.
The display shows the time of day and
the duration of the cleaning procedure.
You cannot change the duration, but you
can delay the start of the cleaning
procedure with the function: End Time.
When the oven is at the catalytic
temperature, the door locks.
The signal sounds at the end of the
cleaning. The oven stops.
3. Press a sensor field or open the oven
door to stop the signal.
4. Wipe the bottom of the oven with a
soft and wet sponge.
Spots or discolouration of the catalytic
surface have no effect on catalytic
properties.
CAUTION!
Do not clean the catalytic
surface with oven sprays,
abrasive cleaning agents,
soap or other cleaning
agents. This will damage the
catalytic surface.
During the catalytic cleaning the oven
lamp is on.
12.4 Catalytic fan cover
CAUTION!
Do not clean the catalytic
surface with oven sprays,
abrasive cleaning agents,
soap or other cleaning
agents. This will damage the
catalytic surface.
Before you activate the
catalytic cleaning remove all
the accessories from the
oven.
The fan cover with a catalytic coating is
self-cleaning. It absorbs fat which collects
on the walls while the appliance
operates.
To support the self-cleaning procedure,
heat the empty oven on a regular basis.
1. Clean the oven floor with warm water
and washing up liquid, then dry it.
2. Set the function
3. Set the oven temperature to 250 °C
and let the oven operate for 1 hour.
4. When the oven is cool, clean it with a
soft and wet sponge.
Spots or discolouration of the catalytic
surface have no effect on catalytic
properties.
12.5 Removing and installing
the door
You can remove the door and the
internal glass panels to clean it. The
number of glass panels is different for
different models.
