Interrupting the wash programme by opening the door of the dish-
washer
Hot steam can escape when the door is opened. There is a risk of scold-

ing! Open the door carefully.

1. Open the door of the dishwasher. The wash programme stops.
2. Shut the door. The wash programme continues.
Cancelling the wash programme

1. Press the button for the wash programme in progress and keep it
pressed. The programme indicator for the wash programme in progress
flashes for a few seconds and then goes out.
2. Release the programme button, the wash programme is stopped.
Pause Function
The wash programme can be interrupted for a short period by using the
Pause function:
1. Press the ON/OFF switch (AAN/UIT; MARCHE/ARRET). The wash pro-

gramme stops.
2. All indicators go out.
3. If after a short period the wash programme is to be continued, press
the ON/OFF switch (AAN/UIT; MARCHE/ARRET) again. The wash pro-
gramme continues.
The wash programme should not be interrupted for an extended period

of time, as otherwise the wash water will cool down and need to be
reheated thus increasing the electricity consumption.
