Procedure

ATTENTION!

The activities described in this manual should only be performed by

engineers, service personnel or technical specialists.

Ê First of all please familiarize yourself with the safety instructions in the

chapter "Important Notes" on page

Ê Make sure that all the manuals you need (see service DVD) are available,

printing out the PDF files if necessary. You will definitely need the operating

manuals of the server blade and of your BX600 S2 or BX600 S3 basic unit.

Ê Shut down the server blade correctly, switch it off and remove it from the

basic unit as described in the

Ê Replace the defective component as described in the relevant chapter.

Ê Close the server blade.

Ê Start the server blade.

Ê If necessary, configure the operating system as required.
