PRIMERGY RX300 S3 is a Dual Socket 2U Xeon
based Rack Server which meets expectations for an IT strat-
egy that seeks to downsize data center infrastructure costs
by enhancing transparency of structure, management over-
head and maximize the use of investments. PRIMERGY
RX300 S3 packs the capacity of a fully-featured departmen-
tal server into a rack design only 2U in height.
Offering breakthrough performance it features leading
edge Dual- or Quad-Core Intel
sequence CPUs embedded in a powerful design with a 6-
port SAS controller and fast PCI Express links and PCI-X
buses.
Expandability is covered for nearly any workload: 32GB

S3 provides: redundant hot-plug power supply and fan op-
tions, Hot-pluggable hard disk drives, PCI Express cards
and onboard RAID. Special attention is given to high se-
curity memory data, with SDDC (Single Device Data Cor-
rection) and a memory mirroring option. With this built-
in failsafe functionality PRIMERGY RX300 S3 is ideally
suited to the demands of continuous operation in business
critical environments, running data bases, terminal servi-
ces, business applications or consolidation and virtual ma-
chine tasks.
