■ Temporary error

A paper feed error occurred.
U2
A double feed error occurred.
U6
The print cartridge is not set.
The following shows the procedure for releasing of each
temporary error.
• "U1" error
Remove jammed documents.
Confirm that the documents meet the paper condi-
tions for scanning.
Refer to fi-4530C Operator's Guide "6.2 Document
Quality" on the Setup CD-ROM.
• "U2" error
Remove jammed documents.
Confirm that the documents meet the paper condi-
tions for scanning.
Refer to fi-4530C Operator's Guide "6.2 Document
Quality" on the Setup CD-ROM.
• "U6" error
This error may occur only when the Imprinter
option is installed on your scanner.
Open the ink cover and confirm if the print car-
tridge is firmly attached.

When you encounter any alarm, turn off and on the scan-
ner. If the alarm is still displayed on the Function No. dis-
play, contact the store where you purchased the scanner or
an authorized FUJITSU scanner service provider.
