Brother's outstanding networking expertise and powerful software tools
enable you to install, manage and monitor these printers easily. This provides
the control and flexibility you need for demanding office environments.
Our new HL-7050N monochrome laser printer features built-in Ethernet
connectivity, and offers three ways to manage the printer on your network:
• One utilizes the power of the Web and your Web browser to perform
essential management tasks.
• Another utilizes our exclusive BRAdmin Professional software to manage
both Brother and other SNMP compliant printers on your network.
• Web-BRAdmin is a server-based software utility that allows you to manage
network-connected printers on your LAN or WAN.
Embedded Web server support
Use virtually any computing platform to view and change the printer and network setting
information in real time. Key features include:
• Graphical user interface with a consistent
look designed for ease-of-use and
convenience.
• Dynamically change print server settings.
• Password protection prevents
unauthorized users from changing printer
or print server settings.
BRAdmin Professional software
BRAdmin Professional allows you to manage network-connected Brother printers and other
SNMP-compliant printers in TCP/IP and IPX/SPX environments. Key features include:
• Easily find all Brother printers on your
network.
• Group printers based on a variety of
parameters: model name, IP or IPX/SPX
address, type, location, and Ethernet
address.
• Easily change the settings of one printer
and then apply them to other printers on
your network.
Web-BRAdmin software
Web-BRAdmin is an enterprise software utility that runs on a dedicated IIS server and allows
you to manage network-connected Brother printers and other SNMP-compliant printers on
your LAN or WAN. Key features include:
• Completely Web-based; client computer
only requires a Java-enabled Web browser.
• View status or access from any Java-
enabled Web browser (PC, Mac, UNIX,
LINUX).
• Easily find all Brother network-ready
printers.
• Record and analyze printer usage of all
printers on your network.
• View supply and accessory information
and check the status of your printer.
• Automatically find all other network-
connected Brother printers on your local
LAN.
• Embedded Web server supports up to six
different languages.
• Record and analyze printer usage of all
printers on your network.
• Manage Brother network-connected
printers and check status of other SNMP
devices.
• Prevent unauthorized users from changing
printer or print server settings using
password protection.
