Set the phone line
compatibility
If you are connecting the machine to a VoIP service
you need to change the compatibility setting.
Note
If you are just using a normal telephone line you
can skip this step.

Press MENU.

Press a or b to display Initial Setup.

Press Initial Setup.

Press a or b to display Compatibility.

Press Compatibility.
f
Press Basic(for VoIP).

Press Stop/Exit.

Automatic Daylight
Savings Time
You can set the machine to change automatically for
daylight savings time. It will reset itself forward one
hour in the Spring and backward one hour in the Fall.

Press MENU.

Press a or b to display General Setup.

Press General Setup.
d
Press a or b to display Auto Daylight.
e
Press Auto Daylight.
f
Press On (or Off).
g
Press Stop/Exit.
