recommended
to prepare the engine for
storage.
1. Drain oil
from crankcase
while engine is still
hot
and
flush
with cl ean,
l
i ght
oi
l .
Refill
crankcase.
2. Drain fuel tank and
carburet or,
or use a fuel
stabilizer
in the
gas oline t
o
pr event
gum
depos i t s
from developing in the carburetor and fuel lines.
3. Clean exterior surfaces of engine.
4. Spread a light film of oil over any exposed metal
surf aces
of
engine
that are subject to cor ­
rosion.
5. Pour tablespoon of oil into spark plug hole,
crank
engine
slowly by hand (2 - 3
revolutions)
and replace spark plugs.
6. Store in clean, dry place.
