3. OPERATION

Press Power button to power on the unit. The green LED blinks and unit

starts initialization. When the LED stops blinking and keeps lighting, the

unit is ready for operation.

When the unit detects metal object, the green LED goes out, but the red

LED lights. And unit starts vibrating.

Repress the Power Button to turn oﬀ the detector.

Note:

(1) The unit will suspend the operation after continuous detection

above same target for about 15 seconds in order to save battery

power. At this time the green LED keeps light. It will recover the

detection for new target after about 1 second.

(2) When the unit is in initialization, hold it stable and keep away from

any metal object.

(3) When the red LED blinks, change the battery.

4. CARE AND MAINTENANCE

(1) Handle the detector gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage

circuit boards and cases and can cause the detector to work

improperly.

(2) If you don't plan to use the unit for a week or more, remove the

battery. Battery can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts.

Note:

The pinpointer is waterproof and can work in the rain. But it is not

available in heavy rain, neither in deep water.

WARRANTY

AAVIX product carries a limited one (1) year warranty against defects in

workmanship and materials from date of purchase under normal

household use. If product is to be used for commercial, industrial or

rental use, a 30 days limited warranty will apply. Warranty does not
