Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
a. Turn the computer over and remove the screws from the base of the computer [1].
b. Release the tabs that secure the base cover [2].
c. Pry up the base cover and remove it away from the computer [3].

Installing the Base Cover

1.
Place the base cover on the chassis and press the notches until it locks in place.
2.
Connect the ODD connector to the system board.
3.
Tighten the screws to secure the base cover to the palmrest.
4.
Turn the computer over and tighten the screws at the base of the computer.
5.
Install:

keyboard
b.
memory module
c.
hard drive
d.
WLAN card
e.
access panel
f.
optical disk-drive
