Changing a halogen lamp

The halogen lamps get very hot dur-
ing operation.
They can cause burns even after be-
ing switched off for some time.
Allow the lamps to cool down for a
few minutes before changing them.
Halogen lamps can fall onto the hob
when they are being handled.
This can result in damage to the hob.
Make sure you hold the lamps se-
curely at all times when handling
them.
 Use the lever supplied to pull the
halogen lamp out of its socket.
 Insert the new halogen lamp into its
socket and carefully push into posi-
tion.
When replacing a defective lamp you
should use exactly the same type of
lamp (see "Technical data" for lamp
specification).
