Cleaning and care
Changing a light bulb
The bulbs should be replaced with the
following:
Bulb type .............................. LED, GU10
Power ............................................... 3W
Replacement bulbs are available from
Miele.
Turn off the blower and the lighting.
Remove the grease filters.
Disconnect the hood from the
electrical supply before replacing the
bulbs (see "IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS").
While the light is turned on, the bulbs
become very hot.
Allow the bulbs to cool down for a
few minutes before changing them.

Loosen the lamp's securing screw a
little.
Slide the screw and the lamp
downwards.
Then tighten the screw again.
Turn the bulb counter-clockwise and
pull it out.
Install the new bulb. Observe the
manufacturer's instructions.
Slightly loosen the screw again, push
the light upwards, and tighten the
screw.
Reinstall the grease filters.
