When removing the filters for clean-

ing also clean off any residues of oil

or fat from the now accessible hous-

ing to prevent the risk of these catch-

ing fire.

When putting the grease filters back

ensure that the handhold catches

face towards the hob.

Should the grease filters be put back

upside down,insert a small screw-

driver into the slits to disengage

them. Do not let them drop on to the

hob below.

Cleaning and Care

Active charcoal filter

If the cooker hood is connected for re-

circulation, an active charcoal filter

must be inserted in addition to the

grease filters. Charcoal filters absorb

normal kitchen odours.

Remove the grease filters.

Insert the active charcoal filter so

that the catch faces towards the hob.

Always change the active charcoal fil-

ter when the indicator lamp for the

charcoal filter touch control comes on.

Otherwise the cooker hood will cease

to absorb the kitchen odours suffi-

ciently. Replace the filter at least every

3-4 months.
