Rotary control is
flashing
The griddle plate does
not get hot.

Cause and remedy
The gas hob is equipped with an ignition safety
device. The gas flame is extinguished and a
subsequent attempt at re-ignition was unsuccessful
(see "Operation - Ignition safety").
Turn the rotary control to the (Off) position.
The electronic ignition for the gas hob carries out a
self-test as soon as the first burner is switched on or
the last burner is switched off. The self-test was
interrupted (see "Operation - Electronic ignition self-
test ").
Turn the rotary control to the (Off) position.
The gas hob is equipped with an ignition safety

The rotary control light ring does not flash when re-
ignition is unsuccessful.
Turn the rotary control to the (Off) position.

The light ring on the rotary control does not flash if
