3-11. Electrical Service Guide

Input Voltage
Input Amperes At Rated Output
Max Recommended Standard Fuse Or Circuit Breaker Rating In Amperes
Min Input Conductor Size In AWG/Kcmil
Max Recommended Input Conductor Length In Feet (Meters)
Min Grounding Conductor Size In AWG/Kcmil
Reference: 1999 National Electrical Code (NEC)
1 Choose a circuit breaker with time-current curves comparable to a Time Delay Fuse.
2 "Time-Delay" fuses are UL class "RK5" .
3 "Normal Operating" (general purpose − no intentional delay) fuses are UL class "K5" (up to and including 60 amp), and UL class "H" ( 65 amp and
above).
Y Caution: Failure to follow these fuse and circuit breaker recommendations could create an electric shock or fire hazard.

Weld Bead Using The End Stabilizer

Circuit Breaker
Normal Operating
This unit is factory set for high
inductance. High inductance is
typically used to soften the arc and
flatten the weld bead profile.
To change inductance to low, pro-
ceed as follows:
Remove lower left side panel.

Remove lead 25 from stabilizer end
and reattach to tap terminal as
shown. This inductance change will
produce a stiffer arc that may be
more desirable for welding out of
position.
Reinstall side panel.
