Daily Set Up & Test Procedure
Switch on oxygen concentrator, alarm sounds for
five seconds and then stops.
Yellow light indicates oxygen concentration has
not yet reached 85%. It should go out after
approximately ten minutes.
Test oxygen flow meter over
the full range. Leave the flow
at 2 litres per minute as the
concentrator does not like
trying to produce oxygen when
it is not being used.
Test air flow meter over the full
range. Leave the flow meter
switched off.
If oxygen cylinder is fitted,
turn on oxygen cylinder
Confirm contents of cylinder
Test oxygen flow meter over full range.
Switch off the flow meter, turn cylinder off.
