Safety instructions

NOTE
• Please read this manual carefully and strictly observe all safety instructions regarding correct installation of
the product, operation, use and maintenance. For your own safety the user should read all safety advice and
instructions in this manual. Failure to observe the instructions in this manual may result in serious injury or even
death. The product may only be used in the locations and under the conditions for which it was designed.
• Stand up paddling can be dangerous. You may be exposed to unexpected hazards when using this product.
Strictly follow all safety instructions in this manual.
• The maximum number of people using the product at the same time must not be exceeded. Regardless of the
number of people on the board, the total weight of these people, including equipment, must not exceed the
maximum load permitted for the product.
• The product must not be used by persons under the influence of alcohol, intoxicating substances or drugs.
• Always use appropriate safety equipment such as buoyancy aids approved by the relevant authorities of your
country.
• During harsh conditions (strong winds, high waves, strong currents) or when there is a large number of people in
the vicinity of the product and the risk of falling is greater, always wear a protective helmet on your head when
using the product.
• Always share the product with another experienced user. Provide the other user with information about your
planned route and length of use before using the product.
• Before setting off, check the weather forecast, familiarise yourself with water conditions. Poor weather and
water conditions can be very dangerous (including, but not limited to, strong winds, currents, tides). Under no
circumstances should you use the product in conditions beyond your skill level.
• Always use the product close to the shore, pay attention to ambient conditions such as wind, tides and waves.
• It is forbidden to use a SUP board during a storm.
• Do not use the product in bodies of water that are not well known to the user.
• Uneven load distribution on the board can cause it to tip over and risks drowning.
• The product must be inflated to the pressure rating specified for it (marked on the board and/or packaging), but
do not exceed the maximum recommended pressure, as this may cause the board to deform and/or explode.
• Learn how to use the product. Beginners should practice using the board with a qualified instructor.
• Obtain the necessary information regarding the local regulations in force and the risks associated with the use of
the SUP board, surfing, navigation and/or other water sports.
• Leaving an unused board in a place exposed to direct sunlight can cause serious damage to the board. Check
regularly the air pressure in the board.
• The valve tightening spanner should only be used when the air is fully deflated from the board. Do not use the
spanner to tighten or loosen the valve when the product is inflated, this can cause serious injury.
CAUTION
• Carefully inspect your SUP board for wear or leaks before each use to ensure it is still in good condition.
• If you notice any damage to the product, discontinue the board immediately.
• Any contact of the board (air chambers) with sharp objects must be avoided.
NOTIFICATION
To avoid damage to the ballast, do not use the board in shallow water. Do not step on the board lying on the ground
with the ballast mounted. The pressure gauge is only for pumping the board and is only an indication. When using
the board for the first time or if it has not been used for a long time, check the air valve and tighten it if necessary
using the spanner supplied in the repair kit.
