Troubleshooting guide
Before requesting service, make the checks below. If you are not sure about some of the check points,
or if the solutions below were not a solution to the problem, consult your dealer for instructions.
Power
No power.
The system
automatically switches off.
Main unit displays
"STOP" or " ERR DISC"
"NO DISC"

• Connect the AC mains lead correctly.
• The system is switched off by the sleep timer or the auto off
function.
• You put in a disc that the system cannot play. Change to a
playable disc.
• You put in a blank disc or a disc that has not been fi nalized.
• You have not put in a disc.
• You have not put in the disc correctly. Put it in correctly.
• USB mass storage device does not have fi les.
• An incorrect operation was done. Read the instructions and try again.

• The system cannot operate correctly because of lightning, static
electricity or some other external causes. Disconnect the AC
mains lead, and then connect it again.
• There is condensation. Let the system dry for 1 to 2 hours.
• Point the remote control at the signal sensor on the main unit to
operate.
• Examine that the batteries are installed correctly.
• The batteries are weak. Replace them with new ones.
• If a disc contains CD-DA and other formats, correct playback is
not possible.

Use the disc with playback control (PBC).

• Press the DISC MENU button.
• It is possible that the subtitles are not shown because of the disc.
• Select from the menu of the disc if one is available.
• Select "DVD/CD" or "USB" as the source.
