Before you turn on your phone

Removing the thin film from the battery
1. With your thumb or finger, lift up the back cover from
the notch at the bottom of your phone.
As the battery is being charged, the notification LED
shows a solid amber light. The light turns to solid green
when the phone is fully charged.
2. Take the battery out and remove the thin film that's
wrapped around it.
Turning on your phone for the first time
Press and hold the POWER button for a few seconds until
the screen turns on.
Once your phone turns on, you'll be asked to choose the
language, and set up various accounts.
Inserting the battery
1. Align the battery's exposed copper contacts with the

Set the ringtone and

When you switch on your phone for the first time, just
follow the onscreen instructions to set up your phone.
Change the phone ringtone to suit your groove. From
