7 TROUBLESHOOTING

IZAR RDC VEHICLE is equipped with several LEDs inside the housing accessible only by opening it.

LED 1

SPP is detectable

LED 2

Modem active

LED 3

Main microcontroller running (blinking)

This chapter provides a first level of diagnosis in case of malfunction.

Beforehand (at the office with an internet connection):

Make sure the SIM card subscription is still active with your telephone company

Check that the FTP account is accessible

Check that the connection information to the FTP server is unchanged: user, password, URL

FTP address

Make sure that the available disk space on the FTP server is sufficient

On site :

Perform a visual inspection of the product and check in particular for the following elements :

significant humidity in the housing, damage ...

Check the antenna wiring for good reception

When using the 12/24V DC external power connector, make sure that it is in place and that

power is available

Connect to the device and check the settings

OFF

SPP is not detectable or

SPP connection running

Modem inactive

The device is off
