TO REMOVE A CALL FROM HOLD
–To release hold in handset mode, press [HOLD] key; in speakerphone mode, press
[SPKR] key.
TO CHANGE PHONES AFTER PLACING A CALL ON HOLD
1)
Place the call on hold by pressing [HOLD] key.
2)
Put back the handset in its cradle. When using speakerphone, just press [HOLD] to
place the call on hold.
3)
Pick up the call at another telephone. The BITTEL phone will detect the current
status and remove the hold condition at the original phone.

ADJUSTING RING VOLUME

Locate the adjustment controls on the back of the telephone labeled RINGER LOW/HI.
Slide the switch to the desired LOW or HI ring volume.

PROGRAMMING MEMORY KEYS

To program the auto dial keys, the telephone must be connected to a telephone line.
1)
Lift handset or press [SPKR].
2)
Press [STORE],
Dial the number desired including [PAUSE] and [FLASH] key where
necessary, press [STORE] key again.
3) Press a Memory key (including [MWL]) to finish.
4) Off-hook and press the memory key (including MWL) will dial the number
out directly.
5)
Delete memory number: Press [STORE] key twice and then press memory
keys (including MWL).

MESSAGE WAITING LIGHT

It is compatible with high voltage neon/90V systems.
Provided a voice mail access number was stored and if the there's message waiting
(MWL indicates a voice message), lift handset or press [SPKR], then press [MWL] key to
play message(s).
[MWL] functions also as ringing indicator.
DATA PORT
This phone is equipped with a DATA PORT jack for guests to connect an auxiliary phone
device, such as a computer modem or a fax machine.

DATA PORT SWITCH

There are two lines from the wall socket, so, put the data switch in position 1 means
connect to the phone line. If put the data switch in position 2 it works as a two line phone.
