Before connecting your new
appliance
• Before you use your new appliance,
please read the Instructions for Use
carefully. These contain important safety
information as well as instructions for its
use and care.
• The following instructions are only valid
in the countries corresponding to the
symbols featured on the appliance. If the
symbol doesn´t appear on the appliance, it
is necessary to refer to the technical
instructions which will provide the
necessary instructions concerning
modification of the appliance to the
conditions of use of the country.
• Do not handle the inside of the appliance.
Should this be necessary, contact our
Technical Assistance Service.
• These appliances reach high
temperatures. Please use caution.
• Keep these Operation and Assembly
Instructions in order that they may be
handed over with the appliance should
there be a change of owner.
• Do not operate a damaged appliance.

Safety Warnings

• Connection to the electricity and gas
supply should be carried out by
authorised personnel.
• It is obligatory that the appliance be
earthed. In the event of an accident due
to the fact that the appliance is not
earthed, or that the earthing is not correct,
we do not accept any type of
responsibility.
• The surfaces of cooking and heating
appliances heat up when operated.
Always keep children away.
• The electric cables must not come into
contact with the areas of the hob that heat
up. The electricity supply lead must be
fixed to the kitchen unit in order that it
does not come into contact with the hot
parts of the oven and the hob.

• This appliance must only be used for
cooking purposes, never as a source of
heating.
• Overheated oil and fat can easily catch
fire. Therefore, when preparing food with
oil or fat, for example chips, do not leave
the hob unattended.
• In the case of a breakdown, turn off the
electricity supply to the appliance. Call our
Technical Assistance Service out to carry
out the repairs
• Pressure cookers should be monitored
until the required pressure is reached.
Turn the control knob to the maximum
position and then (following the
instructions of the pressure cooker
manufacturer), turn it to a lower position.
• Do not use pans with deformed bases that
are unstable on the burners and hotplates
as they could accidentally tip over.
• As the underside of the appliance can
become warm during operation, it is
recommended that as much ventilation
space as possible be left between the
underside of the appliance and any
drawer or partition that may be
underneath.
• If installing above a drawer, please ensure
the drawer is constructed from non-
flammable materials and that flammable
items are not stored in the drawer.
