Unlike most competitive models, this device

does not allow any copy jobs to be reserved

while a copy or print job is in progress.

Interrupt

The Aficio 1515MF does not offer an Interrupt

key. Interrupt enables users to pause a copy

or print job in progress in order to perform an

immediate job. However, the unit does allow

users to pause a print job in progress in order

Scan

With the unit's scan to e-mail capability, users

can scan documents and send them over the

Internet or intranet to specified e-mail address-

es in TIFF or PDF format. Address book man-

agement is accomplished via a standard Web

browser, and up to 150 e-mail addresses can

be maintained. Further, TCO is significantly

lowered, as transmitting data over the Internet/

intranet reduces long-distance phone charges,

there is no need for a dedicated delivery server

and there is no need for costly overnight deliv-

ery services when communicating large, multi-

page hardcopy information.

Complementing the scan to e-mail functional-

ity of the unit, Internet faxing converts hard-

copy documents into a TIFF-F attachment. The
