Select Adjust on the screen to enter -2. Press the – key twice and then Enter.

You will now have a choice to either print the test sheet again to check or

end to finish.

If you still have problems with white or black lines, then you will need to

complete the fine adjustment.

Print the test pattern 15 (Grey Pat 1) with SP4-417-001

If a black or white line occurs in the main scan direction, adjust the paper

feed timing with SP1-922-001 (SubScan:Send Adj).

You may find that you cannot completely get rid of the line, if this is the

case you will have to compromise.

The service manual tells you to increase the value for a white line and

decrease for a black line.

Once all of these adjustments have been completed the print and copy

quality should be good.

If you have a black line increase the value by 1

If you have a white line decrease the value by 1

Print the test pattern again and adjust if required.
