MAINTENANCE
To maintain optimal performance over time, store your
crimper in its case, away from moisture. After repeated use,
check the oil reservoir. If necessary, refill using an SAE grade
15 hydraulic oil. To access the oil reservoir, unscrew and re-
move the fixed handle

and oil valve J. Carefully pump the
movable handle several times to release any trapped air in
the oil reservoir. When you're finished, replace the oil plug
and attach the fixed handle.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Leaking Oil
If your crimper is leaking oil, first unscrew and remove
the fixed handle

and if necessary, tighten the oil res-
ervoir plug J. If the leak is coming from the crimper
head, please contact us for a replacement unit.
Insufficient Hydraulic Pressure
If your crimper is not generating sufficient hydraulic
pressure, you will notice a distinct hissing noise as
you pump the movable arm. This is likely the result of
an internal misalignment of the ON/OFF knob. Using
a rubber mallet, firmly tap the face of the knob twice.
Repeat if necessary.
If the issue persists, contact us for a replacement tool.
