FVS recently clarified the warranty on its Filtropur SFS
10600-02 Air Cleaner by, one might say, "cleaning up" some
language that was not as clear as it might have been. In
connection with that clarification, FVS decided to lengthen
the period within which current product owners may extend
their warranty.
The SFS 10600-02 Air Cleaner comes with a one-year
limited warranty, which the product owner may extend for
an additional year by purchasing and installing a new main
SFS filter before the initial one-year period has ended. If
you have owned your SFS 10600-02 air cleaner for more
than one year but did not take advantage of your opportu-
nity to extend your warranty, for a limited time you may still
do so. If you purchase and install a new main SFS filter in
your unit on or before March 1, 2011, your warranty will be
deemed never to have lapsed, and will be extended for an
additional year. You can continue to extend your warranty
for one-year period by purchasing and installing a new SFS
main filter every 12 months. Always be sure to maintain
records showing that you extended your warranty in this
fashion.
