Connecting an MD
deck or a DAT deck
Select one of the following two connections,
depending on the equipment to be
connected and the method of recording.

You can record from the sound sources of

analog sound.
You can also listen to the sound from the
MD deck or DAT deck by pressing the
FUNCTION button repeatedly to select
MD.

Chapter 6: Additional Features
Use audio cords and make sure to connect
the plugs to jacks of the same color.
Then press FUNCTION
to select the sound
sources.
Note
If you cannot select "MD" by pressing
FUNCTION, select "VIDEO" and turn the
power off. Press SYSTEM POWER
while
holding down ENTER/NEXT and
"VIDEO" will be switched to "MD".
To return to "VIDEO", do the same
procedure.
To connect other equipment with an
AU BUS jack
You can connect other Sony equipment
with AU BUS.

Connecting a VCR
You can connect a VCR and hear the sound
through the connected speakers.
