7 Option: Comparison of Yields from Inverters by
Sensor Box Module
7.1 Functional Description
Each inverter is equipped with an integrated yield monitoring function. This function is based on
the comparison of yield data from one inverter with an irradiation sensor connected or from an
installation comprising at least 2 inverters that are networked by means of a master-slave network.
7.2 Requirements
Irradiation and module-temperature sensors connected and set.
Suitable installation position and geographical orientation for the sensor box (same
inclination, orientation and shadowing as the modules)
Activation code (available from FIMER for an additional charge)
Note: The sensor and inverter data can be compared without the activation code. It is also possible
to read out the annual sensor logger and the annual energy logger without the activation code. If you
do have and enter the activation code, an automatic check takes place and an alarm is output.
7.3 Parameter configuration and setting
The following parameters must be entered:

total module surface area for parameter 215 or the cell efficiency here and the total cell surface
