Installing Options

handling precautions, see the Reference Guide.
To install the optional 500-Sheet Universal Paper Cassette Unit
A3, Duplex Unit, or 4-Bin Mailbox, see the instructions that come
with each package.

Before you install the Hard Disk Drive, interface card or memory
module, be sure to discharge any static electricity by touching a
grounded piece of metal. Otherwise, you may damage
static-sensitive components.
To confirm that the Hard Disk Drive, memory module and
interface card are installed correctly, print a status sheet. See
"Printing a Status Sheet" on page 14 for instructions.
After installing options, you need to make necessary settings for
the installed options in the printer driver. See the section under
"Installing Options" in the Reference Guide for instructions.
