5. Connecting DSi 8M inputs to power ampliﬁ er outputs:

two options

Option 1: If you have Crown DSi power ampliﬁ ers, use six VGA

cables as shown in Figure 3.1 and Figure 3.4.

Option 2: Connect the ampliﬁ er loudspeaker outputs to the DSi

8M's Phoenix input connectors I and J as shown in Figure 3.5.

Unshielded wire can be used. Section 5 gives the connector pin

assignments.

All the inputs on the rear panel are unbalanced except for the

sub woofer input.
