In order to obtain optimum performance from your system, it should be instailed as shown In the accompany-

ing illustration. When a MD recorder is included as part of the system, place it between the CD receiver and the

cassette deck, as shown.

This product has been treated with a glossy finish. As a result, if the components are allowed to remain stacked

for long periods of time, the feet of a unit above may leave imprints on the top of the unit below.

m@ Precautions regarding speaker placement

@ Avoid installing speakers in places exposed to direct sunlight or near heating appliances, since the speaker

cabinets may become deformed or discolored, or the speakers may be otherwise damaged.

Never install speakers in unstable locations, since they may fail and cause personal injuries or other dam-

age.

g About the Subwoofer's non skid Pads

The speaker system's outer package contains non skid pads for the subwoofer. Apply these pads to the four

corners of the subwoofer's bottom surface. It is particularly important to attach these pads when mounting

the subwoofer on a hard floor or other slick surface.
