PTY Function
The PTY function enables you to select stations by the type of programming they broadcast
(PTY Search). It also provides automatic tuning to emergency broadcasts (PTY Alarm).
• PTY code program types are as follows:

• If a PTY code of zero is received from a station, "NONE" will be displayed. This indicates that the
station has not defined its programme contents.
• If the signal is too weak for this product to pick up the PTY code, "NO PTY" will be displayed.
