Switching the rear output setting

This unit's rear output (rear speaker leads out-

out and RCA rear output) can be used for full-

range speaker or suowoofer connection. If you

switch the rear output setting to the subwoofer.

yOu Can connect a rear speaker lead d:rectly to a

subwoofer without using an auxiliary amp.

* If you connect a subwoofer to the rear output.

set the output setting to subwoofer.

* Even if you change this setting. there is no

output uniess you switch the subwoofer output

on (refer to Using subwoofer output or page 29).

* Both rear speaker leads output and RCA rear

output are switched simultaneously in this set-

tng.

1 Press FUNCTION to select the rear output

setting mode.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until FRT+REAR

appears in the display.

* If tne rear output setting has been set to the

Subwoofer then FRT+S/W wil: be aisplayed.

2 Select full-range speaker or subwoofer

with </>,

Pressing </ wi:i switch betweer FRT+REAR

(full-rarge speaker} and FRT+S/W (subwoofer!

and that status will be disp'ayed. =
