Connecting the output cable
Connect the plugs of the cable to the input terminals of the ampli-
fier (terminals marked CD or AUX), and to the output terminals of
the compact disc player.
@ Connect the white plugs to the left (L} terminals and the red plugs
to the right (R) terminals.

Make sure plugs are pushed fully into the terminals.
Connect the power cord
Insest the power cord plug into the auxiliary AC outlet of your am-
plifier unit, or into a household wail outlet.

When

is made
of a stereo
amplifier with the Pioneer
mark, connect the control terminal on the rear panel of this

player to the corresponding terminal on the amplifier. This will
enable the player to be controlled from a distance, with the re-
mote control unit supplied with the amplifier.

@ The remote control unit can be used for PLAY, STOP/CLEAR,
PAUSE,
TRACK
SEARCH
and DISC operations.

8-cm CD adaptors
itis possible that even an adaptor which meets recommended
standard CD specifications will not be usable with the CD play-
er. It is recommended that the special Multi-Play Magazine (JD-
