REPLACING FUEL CYLINDERS

Screw the Propane Cylinder clockwise into the valve. Hand tighten only. Do not cross

thread. Use only a 16.4 oz (465g) cylinder with a No.600 connection. Do not use a 14.1

oz (400g) cylinder. Apply a soapy water solution to the connection. If bubbles form, the

connection has a leak.

Never use a flame to check for leaks.

MAINTENANCE

The flames should be about 6" to 8" tall and yellow in color. Carefully remove any debris

from the fire ice. Never use a vacuum cleaner. Do not obstruct the flow of combustion

and ventilation air. It is recommended that the urn is stored indoors during the winter if it

will be subjected to freezing temperatures. The cylinder must be disconnected and

removed from the appliance before the appliance can be stored indoors.

Cylinder must be stored outdoors in a well ventilated area out of the reach of children.

Disconnected cylinders must have threaded valve plugs tightly installed and must not be

stored in a building, garage, or any other enclosed area.
