If you reset thehandset, all the user-
selectable features including
Phonebook, incoming and outgoing call
numbers and other settings return to the
initial setting at t he time of purchase.
To reset your handset:
1. Press the
button.
Selecting Base
Your handset can be used with up to 4
base units. This menu optionallows you
to select the base you want to u se.
Note:
To use the handset withmorethan
one baseunit,youmust register
the handset to each base unit. See
page 23.
To select a base unit:
1. Press the

Charging Handset
Beforeinitial operation, YOU SHOULD FULLY
CHARGE THE HANDSET for about 24 hours.
To charge the handset, you can place it on
the base.
Result: Whencharging, the handset i s
automatically t urned on and t he
charging lamp on the base lights up.
Notes:
The battery needs tobereplaced if
it does not recover its full storage
capacity after recharging.
When replacing the battery, always
use good quality Ni-MH re-
chargeable battery. Never use other
battery or conventional alkaline
battery.
