Before each use, verify the device is undamaged and
properly functioning. Do not use the device if you suspect it
may be functioning incorrectly.
Recommended environmental conditions:
• F or use: Temperature between 50°F and 100°F, relative
humidity below 85%
• F or storage: Temperature between 0°F and 150°F, relative
humidity below 85%
Cleaning a nylon cuff with bladder:
• F irst, gently remove the tubing from the inflation bulb
and gauge. Place these aside. Before cleaning, the
bladder must be removed. To remove the bladder, gently
pull the tube through the cloth opening then pull the
bladder out of the cuff. The bladder can be wiped clean
with a damp cloth. The cuff may be cleaned using a damp
cloth or by washing with warm water and mild soap or
detergent. Allow the cuff to air-dry.
Manometer gauge:

Sphygmomanometer is designed to provide accurate
blood pressure measurements within ±3 mmHg across
the range of normal use (20-300 mmHg). Gauge accuracy
should be checked periodically. To do this, ensure that
the needle lies in the small black rectangle at the bottom
of the gauge when the cuff is deflated. If it does not,
discontinue use of the device and contact Direct Supply.
